How to use your TV with your computer
Right click anywhere on the desktop. Go to "Properties." "Display Properties" box should pop up.
Click on "Settings".
In the screen resolution box slide the slider down to "600 x 800." Click on "advanced." Click on "Monitor" at the top. Make sure the screen refresh rate is set at 60 hertz. (If not, click on the drop down box and move to 60). Click on "apply." Click on "ok." Click on "ok." Turn on your TV. Locate the TV/VCR source button on the remote. Keep pressing it until the words on the TV screen read "Rear computer SVGA." Click on "Enter" on the remote. You should see the computer image on the TV now. Harold is supposed to be getting a splitter for the sound. If you want to hear sound from the TV now unplug your speaker cord from the back of your computer (the green one), and plug in the extra cord that is back there. (It’s black and has the same end as the green cord). That will make the sound come from the TV instead of the computer.
