GradeQuick - End of Quarter / Term Procedures

Summary:

1.     Add Term Subtotals to your classes.

2.     Add Comments to classes

5.  Adding Semester Exams

 

1.    Add Term Subtotals to your classes.

  • Click on the View Menu
  • Click on the Subtotals Menu
  • Select Terms
  • Click OK

 

2Add Comments to classes.

  • Adding Student Comments
  • Click on the View Menu
  • Select Student Information
  • Press and hold the CTRL key on the keyboard and select by single clicking on the left mouse button the T"_"C1 and T"_"C2 from the data fields window. (Use appropriate "term" that you are in)
  • Click the OK Button.

 

3Edit Grades

  • Use this step to change the grades that will be recorded to the grade card.
  • Double Click on the Term Subtotal grade that you wish to change.
  • Enter the new grade in the field.
  • Press the ENTER Key to submit the changed grade.

 

4Sending Grades via GradeQuick 

  • Click on the File Menu
  • Select the Send Menu.
  • Select the Term "_". (Use appropriate "term" that you are in)
        **You must also have the correct term in your gradebook - (Make sure you change term whenever we start new nine 
             weeks.)
  • It will ask you to name the file to be sent.  Please do not rename this file. All you will need to do is select OK.  If a screen appears asking you to Overwrite or Append the file you must hit OVERWRITE.
  • A window will appear stating that your file "export is complete".
  • Your grades have been sent.  Please follow this procedure for every class period OR if you need to resend the grades after a correction.

5. Adding Semester Exams
    

  • Select Edit Menu
  • Select Add-Test
    • This will add a column for your test score.
  • Name the test:   SEMEX1 (SEMEX2 is used for second semester)
  • Enter a space (blank) for the Term. (If it does not allow you to do this, View all Terms and it will allow to enter space for Term)
  • (OPTIONAL) A window may or may not appear asking your to weight the semex1.  This should be set to 20%.  If window does not appear, go to Grading and click on weighting, set 1st 9 weeks to 40%, 2nd 9 weeks to 40% and SEMEX1 to 20%.
  • (OPTIONAL) Once you have the weighting set go to Options - Click on Save Settings
  • (OPTIONAL) You may or may not be prompted  to assign Special Scores for Semex1(2):   1(2)

Set the Possible for this column to correspond to the test. (Example 150 if the test has 150 questions
